Come Learn Jewish History with Us!

At The Breman Museum, our goal is to preserve and disseminate reliable information about Jewish history and culture. In order to do so, we provide resources and programs that are designed to educate visitors about pivotal moments in the history of the Jewish people. Our knowledgeable staff supports the Museum’s mission by helping individuals and institutions learn Jewish history in a responsible environment.

Learning Programs

The Museum’s principal initiatives include the Weinberg Center for Holocaust Education, which passes on critical memories of the Holocaust to new generations of students and educators through the use of expert speakers, educational materials, learning programs, and museum galleries. We also house the Southern Jewish History collection, which includes the largest treasury of archival resources related to the Jewish experience in the Southeastern region of the United States.

Study at Atlanta’s Only Jewish Heritage Museum

Our educational programming and on-site offerings provide unique learning experiences that allow students, educators, and lifelong learners to broaden their knowledge and understanding of Jewish history. From our permanent exhibition Absence of Humanity: The Holocaust Years to our special exhibition gallery, which hosts a variety of rotating exhibitions, there is always something new to learn at The Breman, Atlanta’s only Jewish history and cultural heritage museum.
