Jason Danino Holt, Israeli theater maker and current BAMAH Artist-in-Residence and guest of The Breman Museum, invites you to an intimate talk about navigating art, leadership, and vulnerability in the aftermath of collective trauma.

In this personal and professional reflection, Holt shares insights from his work as Artistic Director of HABAIT Theatre in Tel Aviv and his role as an anchor in Israel’s independent performance scene. He speaks about the challenges of artistic direction in times of national crisis, and how, rather than creating new reactive works, he chose to give past works new life—offering audiences moments of reflection, presence, and meaning.

The talk will include reflections on his signature piece Not Letting It In, and feature a glimpse into works presented in the 2024 HABAIT Festival. Jason’s time at The Breman and BAMAH residency is not just a stop along the way—it’s the very reason he remains in the U.S. today, continuing to share his unique approach to confessional performance and cultural leadership with new audiences.
