Join us for a hands-on experience as we learn proper techniques for cleaning and conserving headstones in conjunction with the Historic Oakland Foundation.
We will be working in the Jewish section. The program will include brief presentations on the family histories of the selected markers.
All materials, along with light snacks and water, will be provided. Wear your work clothes! Closed-toe shoes are required, and a hat and sunscreen are recommended. Shorts are ok.
This free event is limited to 20 participants.
