Docent Training Course

Dates: August 4^th – 25^th, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

• Session 1: Tuesday August 4^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Session 2: Thursday August 6^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Session 3: Tuesday August 11^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Session 4: Thursday August 13^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Session 5: Tuesday August 18^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Session 6: Thursday August 20^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm 
• Session 7: Tuesday August 25^th, at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

Requirements:

• Attendance to all 7 training sessions
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the course material
• Complete oral and written assignments as well as pass a qualifying exam
• A commitment to guide at least one tour a month (12 a year)
• Lead a tour speaking, on your feet, for one hour
• Public Speaking skills
• Be at least 18 years old
• Availability Mon-Fri at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
